Väri ja liike ovat taiteen keskeisiä elementtejä, jotka osaltaan toimivat kuvan ja sen sisällön rakentamisen osina yhdessä muiden elementtien kanssa.
Visuaalisen taiteen kerronnassa väreillä on omia merkityksiä joiden tunnelmat ja viestit tavoittavat eri tavoin katsojia. Liike toteutuu muun muassa värien rytmeinä ja ulottuvuuksina tai toistoina, sekä sommittelun keinoin.

Colour and movement are the key elements of art, and work as parts of the image and its contents, together with other image construction elements.
In the narrative of visual art, colours have their own meanings with their respective emotions and messages, that reach different viewers in different ways. The movement is implemented, among other, rhythms of colours and its dimensions, recurrence or via composition.
